is there some type of "code of common sense" conduct humans should "learn" to abide by?

i was @ the park,

minding my bizness per usual bumping to some tunes and burning a joint absorbing the rays, it was a good day,

creature of habit i stroll to my safe spot, to relax, but my usual location is occupied because it's a holiday weekend,

it's cool tho,

people got they lil set up, suns out, lite wind, a stress-free vibe,

i'm in the cut under a tree laying on a stump,

so, on the other side of where i'm sitting there's a lil privilege ass group parlaying, setting up for the day, and they have a pet child roaming, leash free,

no alarm, they seem responsible, no mischief from the four-legged bundle of joy,

i don't judge, i observe then i...  you kno the rest...

in my mind i'm like it seems like a chill playful dog,

however, kids don't know that, neither do some adults,

it's like an actual phobia, look it up,

i've seen trained dogs and i mean there on point like a professional [hand signals & commands],

and then you got some dogs that can understand a few commands and do some tricks,

this dog looked like the latter, [you're a reflection of your child's behavior, vice versa]

from time to time the child roams and the parents ignore its location;

this is like the 4th or 5th time youngin rolled out like a runaway,

i hear kids in the distant screaming and dogs barking blah blah, i pay it no mind because the parks packed, a lot of stimulation,

but on this last adventure, the parents had to react, then ran to catch it,

i see the dogs ass come back and his parents lagging behind,

a few seconds later some cat rolls up slowly like he's bout to drop a spiritual verse,

he speaks calmly and mild, no hostile body language,

im minding my bizness and my music is drowning out what he's saying, so i'm not tuned in,

now, one guy in the group starts pointing his finger @ calm cat, that's when my vibes went mute, had to absorb this scene...

another dude in the group starts saying some shit waving his hands around throwing out excuse loudly for attention & simpathy etc. about "it's a nice day relax blah blah", kind of matter of fact ish,

then his chick i think starts cluck clucking some privilege shit and tells the cat to move on,

so, the cat says "please, can you check your animal", before he could finish,

out of nowhere i hear verbal rounds coming out the corner of my eye,

a lady cat appears like a ghost busting verbal shots at everyone,

now the small groups relaxing in the vicinity have now got up and cameras are out,

is this pop up theater?

[scene set]

all this is revised of course just in case those involved catch wind of this entry lol...

[now right before concerned mother cat arrives, pet child is now on a leash]

and this is just a rough draft of the dialog...

lady cat: who the fuck are you?

guy 1: ah don't come at ...

lady cat: shut the fuck up bastard [pointing her finger]

guy 2: [waving fingers @ lady] don't talk to us like... [before he could finish]

lady cat: you shut the fuck up too

girl 1: [chimes in] hey that's not nice

lady cat: why i need to be nice, your dog is scaring my children

guy 2: there's no leash laws here, lol

girl 2: yeah, he's a nice dog

cat daddy: oh really, your dog chased my children on both sides of the park and "where were you"? [staying cool as a fan, putting his hand up like binoculars pretending to find them]

lady cat: then the little bastard runs onto our blanket, obviously you don't have children

girl 1: what does that have to do with anything?

lady cat: because a parent wouldn't let their child wonder a busy park without supervision

[annoyed looks on the groups face as if they did nothing]

cat daddy: we just want to have a nice day without our children scared to have fun

guy 1: like i said the dog is cool he's not harming nobody

girl 2: like yeah

[lady cat puts her hands on her hip wit a "i don't give a fuck" look on her face]

lady cat: i see red when it comes to my children, i would die for my kids, would die for your damn dog?

girl1: that's extreme

[the whole group agrees in unison]

lady cat: no bitch, let me see your dog near my kids again and it will be the last time you see it, now that's extreme!

[the whole group now is silent with concerned looks on their faces]

just to add she dropped more f bombs than i listed, enough to get her point across lol

lady cat: the audacity of naive privilege [as she walks away],

cat daddy: thanks for understanding, have a nice day [while putting his hands over his heart as respect]

just safe to say they lil four-legged bugger was in sight at all times moving forward,

after that i guess the dog got restless being restrained and was jumping @ folks walking by their section,

my opinion doesn't matter, however what's the general public's point of view on this matter?

dog owners i have a quick question,

do you consider when you're in public or on public transportation with your dog child that,

[a] individuals might be allergic to dogs,

or

[b] have a fear of dogs, no matter how mannered you "believe" your animal is...

a simple apology probably would of squash this issues before it became a problem,

and that's not what i gathered from the interaction,

still minding my bizness i was kinda routing for cat daddy and cat mama,

how many warnings do you have to give before you lose your cool and hit violators with a verbal assault of being unaware of basic manners, or sense of self accountability?

who was wrong?

how would you have handled this situation?

from both point of views?

put yourself in each individual's shoes...
