do manners expire?

"normalize being courteous, even if you got to embarrass folk, respectfully!?!"

visitors,

curious minds out there in digital space,

welcome, welcome,

i might not acknowledge you every post,

but i appreciate all you that take time out to entertain my thoughts...

let's get random

[as always, let me paint the scene]

i was on a bus, afternoon rush hour time and it was hot outside [august time],

when the weather is like that, it seems like us "mammals" lose our fucking sense of space, or intelligence & neglect that we aren't the only ones in public ..!.

as the bus is packing up, individuals start rearranging to allow others to get a seat,

moving their private shit from public space, just being aware of the surroundings,

however,

there's so many guilty "ass clowns" out there that believe it's "normal" to take up a seat just for their shitty stuff [such a rude personality flag],

this isn't your home, take your dirty feet off the fucking seat, chu...

so, on this particular day, a middle-aged lady was searching for a seat,

and this one lady sitting down was "trying" to ignore her [she was ignoring everybody that passed btw], playing on her phone, looking out the window,

[a quick visual]

it's a two-seat close to the middle of the bus,

she had her bag on the seat near the window and then pretended as if she didn't understand "proper manners" or the environment she was in,

now,

another concerned traveler offered to move out their seat for the lady because they were hopping off in a couple stops,

however,

the lady waves her hand then responds in an accent with,

"no thanks, let this bitch move her shit, cause she believe she got some privilege to both and only paying for one seat!"

[mic drop dead on dem forehead lol]

oh shit, old lady came in hot,

now everybody is paying attention to this impromptu roast...

her voice was calm, very poised demeanor, a dennis the menace type smile,

she stood there patiently while the lady bottled up her embarrassment and quietly moving her shit quick,

my lady sits the fuck down and looks @ her saying "the nerve of some people, right"?!?

now the context went a bit different and was much more humorous to witness,

however, for the sake of weak emotions i will leave it there,

just to add, everybody was laughing, because she was in violation & looked blatantly stupid, she deserved the whistle & a red flag on the play,

you just had to be there,

but my point is,

was the old lady wrong or was the hoarder wrong?

no fucking discrimination here, [karma is blind]

if your wrong your wrong just acknowledge it, then adjust and then ponder if you were in the other persons shoes...

we do live in a very delicate & petty as fuck society, so each situation can go either way...

it's become common lately that we "normalize acts of selfishness" in public and then want to be respected for rude behavior!

if you've frequency the iron horse or any sort of public transportation, have you witnessed this type of behavior?

have you been guilty of this type of behavior?

how would you have responded?

do you hold yourself accountable?

making excuse gets you less sympathy and more negative energy...

have we lost the art of communication?

or just common courtesy in general?

surprisingly there are "rules and guidelines" to public space [personal space as well],

they are posted pretty much everywhere and in multiple languages,

however, many try to play victims,

there are no public servants to regulate or issue violations to offenders,

is that what we've come to,

"citizens checking other citizens for their bad manners in public"?

many petty individuals walk through these streets of new york zity that have an "entitled complex", yet gets annoyed if someone corrects them for their ignorance or intelligence they lack,

it's always said "the ones that react with defense is usually the one that is the violator of the offense..." 

can we do better as humans?

basic manners should be taught in schools before these youngin's upgrade to adulthood cluelessly,

with deer in the headlight's syndrome, freezing up when reality bites back...
