fighting depressing sounds so exhausting, negative and aggressive,

need to change the prospective you've been fed all your existence...

yes, question reality when the math isn't matching...

why not make friends with your depression?

sounds more productive, less competitive and also like a lot of work without pay or instructions,

it's life,

not a job,

a journey not a race, a marathon not a sprint,

chess not checkers,

the game of life combined with chutes n ladders,

the ups, downs, curves balls, half stepping, setbacks and mental hurdles,

depression is more of a companion, not an opponent,

do you control the voices in your head, or do they control you?

treat it like a stranger that you've seen for years, yet never took the time to dive deep into their situation,

questions its purpose & intentions towards your growth and progress,

don't self-medicate the monster you were never taught to train,

depression is not unique to you,

some rock it as an accessory seeking likes, attention or mentions,

others treat it like an assignment and learn from the lessons to tap into their neglected blessings,

don't make excuse for being bullied by depression,

that's self-abuse,

stand up for your happiness and sanity...

it's not easy, takes genuine self-love and discipline,

what's the opposite of depression?

progression i hope...

it takes one step forward to eliminate that mental oppression!
