college life is one thing, and campus life is another experience...

you just had to be there!

let me explain so there is no confusion, because that would be an excuse,

anybody can attend college or university because they are taking courses to further or advance their education, online has made that easier and more accessible, affordable,

now campus life is actually going out your comfort zone and attending an institution 24 7 from fall to summer, meeting strangers from all walks of life,

not being condescending to those that have not had the experience, but...

you just had to be there, lol!

it's like the 1st time millions of kids got their taste of real life without parents stagnate rules or micromanaging there budding life,

colleges and universities are like theme park experience for "wanna be intellectuals",

a diverse pot of personalities, cultures and beliefs, it's a prelude to what real life's gonna be, or is it?

i miss the cafeteria,

the library, mess hall,

administration building, the dormitory,

the gymnasium, the stadiums,

the walking paths, groups gathering on manicured lawns,

the curfews, scandals, parties,

sports events, homecoming, graduation,

id cards, room keys,

don't forget the deans, campus security and resident assistant that mimics pettitions and law enforcement,

certified babysitters...

there's pro & cons to living on a college slash university campus,

it's a different world...

from freshman orientation to senior graduation, it's survival of the fittest,

yet you won't face your biggest challenges until real life sets in...

everything was easy,

dating,

engaging with other individuals within your age group,

debating beliefs and knowledge, relating to day-to-day struggles,

being a rebel, exploring the desires you've suppress under your parent's rule,

you get three meals a day, so your belly stays full, and your brain gets nourishment from assigned educators to stimulate your minds motivation to manifest academic success, sounds groovy, yet not cheap, because ain't shit free on the third rock from the sun...

have you experienced the "campus lifestyle" of the college experience?

how was it?

learn anything from your time there?

of course, there will be mix responses,

but i'm curious, because i've been to many institutions for different reason...

where did you go?

did you finish?

what did you study or major in?

would you do it again?

what advice now you would give younger you about the college experience?

maybe to your children...

this might be a "controversial point of view",

but those that have been to prison or criminal holding institutes, i included them into the conversation as well [crime u],

yes, the circumstances are different but look @ the similarities, different but same systems control of grooming & reforming, aligning & indoctrinating,

just my high opinion...

from day one to the last day,

i enjoyed my time in college, the lesson, the experiences, maturity, the situationships, friendships, knowledge, freedom, community, and varies cultures i've ingrain to my life today,

it was definitely a ride everybody should experience once in life, even for a semester...

nostalgia!
