$20 an hour for fast food workers is a fraud in theory,

hate all you want but facts make more sense than fantasy,

read me out ....

all those expert groups and individuals that came up with the concept pretty much assessed that it will help boost the economy, then sold the idea to your elected leaders,

we actually paid for them to research this "interest" for years or maybe less depends on where you are in the union...

why?

well, they looked at the "class demographics of entities" that are employed in fast food [retail and other industries have many similarities],

the lower classes of the pyramid make up most of those employees that last more than 2 - 4 years plus in the food industry,

however the employee turn around rate is insane, that's another subject which adds to my skeptical pov...

so, end of the day,

most those individuals are either influenced or motivated by financial woes,

hard times,

undereducated to social standards, lacking skills to enter into other decent paying industries etc. etc.,

the financial literacy in that pool is considered "poor minded", because they're easy to manipulate with marketing wizardry to take they hard earn money,

after taxes of course to help boost profits aka the economy....

who spends the most money? 

realistically and statistically...

not race wise you negative fact seekers...

it sure as fuck ain't the elites, or the wealthy percental,

such privileged fucks can afford to not pay taxes [i ain't even hating on the muscle hustle],

they launder assets, making promises of a brighter future, get names of benches etc.,

i was told by a marketing jedi once... 

life is a pyramid and we're a product of the scheme [da bricks stupid],

so in sense, financially we're assets, stock options, tangible currency [why do you think human trafficking is such a billion-dollar industry?] etc...

"something" leased us earth and we need to pay our bills before the o2 is shut off...

so, giving more money to a weak section of the population almost guarantees roi for many industries [tax write offs] especially retail, food service, entertainment and most importantly... government [which has the most employees if i'm not mistaken] ...

but it has to be facts not opinions, juggle your emotions & insecurities elsewhere i don't have time for assclown shit, lol,

its 2025 currently,

when this idea of making minimum wage "$15 - $20" per hour was pitched, that was years ago, it probably was when the economy was still affordable to live in,

so let's say 2015 or if you want to go back further, maybe pre-2008,

after many years of petitions, donating, protest and voting etc. etc. red tape excuses,

finally, $20 per hour for minimum wage goes into effect,

however, did they calculate the effects of inflations, tariffs, predatory loans, a shirking workforce, the social security debacle and the other financials hurdles humans must face in society into their "social study"?

don't get me wrong,

minimum wage has been a fucking joke, yet a saving grace which has come a long way from its inception, got to keep these greedy unethical companies in check for their salary slavery tactics, everybody that's willing to work should earn a decent livable wage,

why is a small group of individuals getting bonus when it took a whole village for the privileges of profits to become reality?

ten years from now, i think minimum wage should be $30 per hour,

just my opinion,

let's do some random math,

you put 35 hours of your time into the plantation, @ $30 per hour gross, that's roughly $1000+ a week,

don't forget you gotta pay daddy, uncle sammy, let's say 12% - 15% to be generous,

now you got $800+ after taxes [net] or whatever bracket you're in, [that's like $25 per hour net], with that math your making $3k+ or so monthly,

could you live off $3000 plus a month?

@ $40k - $45k annually?

now my math is possibly off,

i'm not a mathematician, just a guesstimate,

but when you do your own mathematics,

how much does a person that grosses $90k make per hour?

roughly, $45+ per hour net,

now do the math for $20 per hour in this current climate,

does that seem livable?

who really profits from these brilliant ass bait and switch schemes of "enriching" the lower and middle classes of civilization?

i back the idea of livable wages for the individuals in the "workforce",

their the backbone of this economy, [covid proved that]

why not find a solution that works equally across the board?
