is homelessness an experiment turn'd reality?

this might be a hot controversial topic not just a random topic i pulled out a hat to rant about, seems like every year for many years we’ve been outpriced economically, inflation isn't for the weak pockets, more time invested into working, more earnings into taxes, less discipline into savings and a decline towards genuine progress to a “common community goal”, whatever the fuck that supposed to look like!

for every problem tho, there's a beginning and a solution, if we utilize our experience to navigate us thru the bullshit, we should be able to break the cycle… or find a revolutionary way of correcting our societal wrongs...

what is “homelessness”?

is homelessness a choice?

what does homelessness look like?”

does homelessness discriminate?

why is homelessness on the rise, nationally & globally?

let me scale that back a bit, it's been a global ting for centuries,

my bad if i threw too much out there to fathom… but that’s how my mind wanders,

i’ve lived long enough to have witnessed homelessness on different levels,

from mild to severe and beyond dark, and the trajectory seems to be getting worse daily,

are we dealing with overcrowding?

lack of governmental resources?

obviously, lack of housing, yet why?

but i see so much new construction/developments going up, but only 30 something percent occupied, that can't be right...

this pov is shared if you live, or lived in a major city, i think its coined “gentrification”?

i’ve read recent reports that “homelessness” has become an issue even in the rural & suburban classes as well, nationwide, don't feel embarrassed, it was the inevitable eventually,

*side bar… i can see the interviews now, some karen claiming that this shouldn’t be happening in “their” privilege neighborhood or community!

is homelessness profitable?

i mean let's be serious, insurance companies pretty much make money off disasters, wall street companies bet on losing stock and rake in millions…

we have large legal drug networks that peddle pills wit promises poison will cure a patient's problems...

all profitable!!!

yet, it feels like a bait & switch of MANipulation, just my random opinion, can’t knock the hustle until you’re the one getting hustled, there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel, more losers than winners!

pre-2020, homelessness was an issue, yet not an important topic, because everybody was doing good & making money…

now post-2020, shit must have hit an industrial fan, the issues have turned into a “historical problem”, and elected officials are now trying to do damage control and solve them like it's an election year,

impo, it's too late to reverse the effects, it's like reversing “forever chemicals” ..!.

it's depressing & disheartening to visit certain areas of the city and parts of the country, looks like a tornado ripped thru the streets with no regards for life or principals, yet we thumb our nose up @ "it" until "it" becomes a hazard to our reality!

ask those states losing their insurance coverage… sounds like the motto “life ain’t fair unless you can afford it”

homelessness can happen to any soul, it's not catered just to mental health cases, or individuals with criminal past…

debt is real shit, even degree holders, influencers, entertainers might be tippy toeing down a homeless path,

your mother, father, brother, sister, grandparents, relatives or friends can be affected by the nasty work of homelessness without even knowing its coming!

home today, homeless tomorrow… have you ever been to evictions court? [it might not be called that however you know what i’m speaking about]

most people are embarrassed about this subject, however this is as real as it gets, close your eyes and rethink about how many times you’ve seen an individual sleeping on the streets, in all four seasons, to many to count on a thousand hands,

every wonder how they ended up there? and for how long?

in the past i use to volunteer @ a few homeless shelters, and heard many stories of how and why they became residents at the shelter…

what intrigued me more was the process they had to go thru to get into the shelter and then the process to get the fuck out!

the biggest complaint was always lack of housing, period, it was like hunger games, survival of the savvy, because you had to know how to play the system or be a statistic of the system!

where am i going wit this… nowhere or maybe somewhere depending on who’s reading this post…

if you ever been homeless and have successfully expelled it from your present life,

“how did you overcome the bullshit to getting back on your feet”?

many will be quick to blame the homeless for their situation, however if you fell in their situation would you want us to judge you the same way?

if you want something in life, you have to put the work in, so if you don’t want to be homeless one must cultivate a solution to rise out their unfortunate situation,

everything is easier said than done, however with small steps over time anyone can overcome hardship!
