it's a city... "are you prey"?
Updated: Jan 28

welcome all,
thanks for entertaining my random thoughts,
glad to have you here browsing my blog,
hopefully you're getting a kick out of it, we all need a distraction that's not "an agenda" or politically motivated jargon, we appreciate the luv!!!
the title might be a bit confusing,
however here comes the context to develop your own opinion,
on my random quest, i've encounter a lot of situations, heard many complaints & compliments, witness hysterical behavioral pattens and so forth,
however oddly i always see articles, or comments about "others" experience in this great fucking zity of new york...
folks come here with the notion "it's" some sort of amusement park, or college campus and the residents are employees here to serve they privileged misunderstandings, lol

"is new york a safe city"? digital yes, physical...
hmm, well let me get into my thinking man position...
when i'm asked that on my travels, i respond with " wherever you're from, is it safe"?
not the cul-de-sac suburbia they reside in,
but the actual areas considered a "city" in their state, region or country...
"there're many areas in nyc that's "unsafe", it's a zity, use your head,
this zity is a beast, a zoo more like a safari of exotic mammals inhabiting within a concrete jungle,
so, anyone is "game" depending on their situation, experience or common knowledge of this dense geographical maze,
pay attention...
the real question should be to yourself... "am i prey?"
like the animal kingdom, hustlers can sense a suck in the crowd,
new yorkers adapt and know where they should and shouldn't be,
predators are chameleons and can sense fear, if you can't handle the jungle zity,
don't come to the land of hustlers, where a smile can turn into an assault in seconds...
i will admit, there is an abundance of toxic energy infecting our diverse zity,
however, it's insulting hearing ignorance from those who don't actually reside here,
there're five boroughs, and millions of unique people that call nyze home,
i've been called a "realist", because i don't invest in fantasy or fakeality,
we don't live life with filters over here, we're polite until pushed,
so why would anybody assume that this zity isn't friendly?
stereotypes maybe?
we're an open book,
we're raw, mind our bizness,
uncut & unapologetic,
that's the new york zity experience ..!.
nothing, and i mean nothing is perfect, we a lil rough around the edges but clean up nicely!
watching too much media maybe? yeah,
we're always on the tv and streaming in movies,
i've heard that "any publicity is good publicity as long as your name rings bells in the media",
nobody likes to visit a goodie two shoes city with mediocre energy,
check out our track record, let's go pound for pound,
millions come here annually to vacation, work, just to simply visit, turn up, eat out, explore historical landmarks, the arts, absorb the diversity of such a unique melting pot of different flavors & authentic entertainment [not that hollywood shit],
we the shit, we're "sin city east" basically!
now with all that said,
obviously, there're flaws that come with being such a global influencer,
hate all you want but fact is fact, right?
so, question yourself, before you come here...
are you built to survive this gritty matrix experience?

with good comes bad, and the dysfunctionality in between,
that's what the formula of life is and that's what new york city is,
a bipolar zity with multiple personality disorder,
and currently she's been off her meds,
so, tread carefully!
