i truly believe individuals should have the privilege to drive and have the access to personal transportation outside what the city provides,

but smh,

these fucking mini machines "imitating" big boy toys need to be treated like big boys too!

sidewalks should be a "safe haven",

off limits to bikes not in training wheels,

we're adult animals out here, not all have evolved into being human or educated in learned "behavior", we need to start taming these strays,

let's get petty and put that on reality tv, since there's cameras are everywhere now .!..

the "organization" can always do better when they have responsible leaders that cares about the community and their reputation in providing results,

propose an incentive program, establish an agency to oversee public safety for a "modern age infrastructure" and take away violators privilege to operate,

or whatever works to curb irresponsible behaviors,

or just continue to ticket those fools that put danger on sidewalks that are for all "our" families,

the mothers, sister,

the fathers, sons,

children,

elderly,

disabled,

blind,

deaf,

visitors,

pets,

clueless tourist,

business owners,

vendors,

for whomever uses the sidewalk to safely reach their destination,

or just enjoying the zity vibes without being at risk of being a statistic of a growing trend,

or tragedy in our complex zity...

are accident numbers still public record to be accessed by the "public"?

there are issues that must be addressed first,

they can't ticket vehicles that are not legally recognize or insured, right?

"legally", those individual[s] should have the "proper" license or "paperwork" to be operating such a fancy weapons, so they can be held accountable for "playing out of line"...

if officials did their "due diligence" before selling out their constituents for dollars & likes on social sites the media hype for influence, they easily could have searched all those engines that manipulates our brains attached to our hips & see how other "civilized" countries faired [or feared] after allowing these contagious mosquito bikes to buzz all over their historically delicate streets!

from a bird's eye view new york zity looked like a beehive buzzing in confusion, now it looks like crabs in a bucket trying to survive in a melting pot on electric scooters [& gig app cap]...

the bike program during the last administration sounded dope back in the design phase, look how that shit got us now,

congested & constipated with unlicensed entities causing chaos on our side walks and public streets,

yet we reward that behavior with more bike lanes with no real regulations on how they should be utilized correctly,

lines on the ground don't stop folks from breaking the rules if they don't get caught or reprimanded,

accountability is so rare in the united states of excuses, its hit or miss, just my pov!

i didn't have this as a child [electric scooters], but knew the dream would come true eventually,

i'm thankful it did, but didn't expect this dysfunctional reality we're experiencing,

i support the movement, however come on, some type of order needs to be understood universally,

& the consequences to foolish actions dealt with swiftly,

every citizen "kind of" shares the same roads & sidewalks 365,

we got how many million residents, annual visitors, cultures, languages, industries, opinions, insight, funding, statistics, age groups, etc. etc.,

political overseers should manage this entity effectively, protect and progress, not create a slippery slope of degression and societal depression!

marijuana is damn near federal, less than 10 years ago it was a "no no" top shelf infraction, not even a consideration on the senate floor,

yet look how progress goes, turn purpose into action, a plan we can stand behind and be proud of,

go toe to toe,

expose "our foes" to bring this zity back to a "functional platform" with a moral foundation for all to feel safe & secure in and to thrive peacefully,

to many danger signs to continually overlook the obvious concerns and gripes of the good people that abide by the laws.
