i was having [convo's wit chatty] and i asked a.i. to list the top twenty offensive scams in the past forty years,

with that timeline, that should plug in many scams prior to "the digital take over",

a.i. has a habit of writing thesis style responses which annoys the shit out of me,

so, i like to feed her cues & info before i pop the questions that matters on my quest of knowledge!

this is for educational purpose not at all an interest,

but i was curious about the "life of scammers" and how they make their living,

i don't condone it, but it's interesting how it happens to millions of unsuspecting victims worldwide,

so many dark corners of a mind want to know, lol...

i was told by a ceo bro back in the day,

he said "you know why our economy won't go broke? because a sucker turns eighteen every day!"

if you know what it means, then you know what it means without me explaining...

this was pre social media influence, b4 the cell phones, the apps,

people have been "getting got" for centuries,

so, i asked chatty to create this list, and this is what she hit me wit...

Top 20 Scams by Offense

• Ponzi Scheme – Using new investors’ money to pay old investors.

• Pyramid Scheme – Recruiting people to invest and pay commissions up the chain.

• Phishing – Tricking victims into giving passwords, bank info, or personal data.

• Romance Scam – Faking relationships to extract money or gifts.

• Investment Scam – Fake stocks, crypto, or ventures promising high returns.

• Lottery/Sweepstakes Scam – Claiming the victim won money or prizes and must pay fees.

• Advance Fee Fraud – Asking for upfront payments for nonexistent goods, services, or loans.

• Tech Support Scam – Pretending to fix fake computer problems for money.

anybody can be a victim of a scam, even the scammers, wit no discrimination,

there are ethical hackers that counter hackers,

can ethical scammers be a thing too?

eventually karma has to catch up with violators asses,

where's the outrage for that? lol

why not use professionals with field experience to counter?

hire a company that specializes in karma,

like the a-team or the equalizer,

with the birth of the internet, the worldwide web and their subcategories i.e. digital portals, websites, apps, the cloud etc., have become an everyday necessity,

scamming has exploded freely in the digital world like the underworld of ancient times targeting naïvely optimistic or desperate victims!

digital ghost are the most dangerous criminals from my research,

they come from different industry backgrounds, skillsets and talents,

but these days, their teens or young adults, hobbyist, freelancers, or startup companies battling for digital real estate,

digital dominance,

digital currency,

digital influence,

more digital banks and accounts have been hijacked than actual brick & mortar standing banks in the past 10 years,

let's be real, when is the last time you cashed a check?

as the digital war goes on,

there's a lot of booty at stake, and that's when the opportunist becomes digital pirates,

billions of users sail the digital seas on various platforms using digital currency,

use your imagination, criminals are pretty creative!
