if so, is digital snitching wrong?

or useful to even the playing field?

that's a sticky question; there are levels to it apparently,

be careful of the "social media feds" & filtered frenemies...

a.i. agents are already deployed [you think ice is cold, a.i. is colder & darker]

should user be rewarded for digital snitching?

paid wit digital currencies?

for digital bounties?

think about it, look around you, ponder on the possibilities for a moment...

what are the "laws" of the digital world [rules & codes]?

imaging having a digital bounty on your head?

nasir warned us about this [nastradamus}, reality is kinda getting weirder than fiction [some rick & morty type adventure shit] ...

let's put some context on this subject,

as you can tell social media is like high school,

very impressionable, very childish, very chique-ish,

if you make your business public information,

why are you surprised some viewers are against your opinion or stance about certain views? [millions browse social media platforms hourly]

obviously,

digital bullying really exists, it's built into the algorithms we entertain,

you can't control another individual's opinion about you,

so why trip when you actual give them the ammo to target your weakness?

digital bullies are preying for digital sheep to exploit, same game just wit an updated interface lol...

digital platforms have been around for a while,

before subcategories like apps & social media, dial up internet is what was powering us back then, websites, chat rooms, forums etc. etc.,

we just logged off and went about our bizness, disconnected from the matrix,

lived life,

now,

people are hook'd to digital devices like it's an iv to their survival,

sort of a bipolar situationship, a fight between "their digital life vs their reality",

got to keep up with the joneses by any means available,

judging people by how many followers they have is a thing within this generations culture,

a fake it till you make it mentality...

where there's good, bad will poke its mischief cock in it,

anything for bills & thrills, many suckers to profit from digitally,

it's been open season for years, now the problem has become our reality,

digital crime probably has outpaced physical crime [impo], at least ever since project 2020, correct me if i'm wrong, facts over filters, there's plenty of studies or reports out there...

so many "digital pirates" sailing the digital seas these days,

i'm not gonna label or name them, that's their bizness,

i can respect the short-term hustle but it's not a secret any more...

why do criminals advertise their escapades on a platform, they can't control to fulfill their criminal desires?

do you know all your followers?

feeling like pac, "all eyez on you"?

criminal activities do make great content for cable crime shows, three-part documentaries, memes, and reels or whatever gets the audience attention,

i'm assuming they [criminals] profit from all the attention and support, taking that "do or die" type of risk,

you either incredibly smart or incredibly stupid [who sponsors these individuals?] ...

now when big brother 12 unions steps in to balance the scales of justice,

their met with resistance and protest,

however,

all the evidence they [12] collected is from digital data they discovered in public digital spaces,

now there are hundreds, maybe thousands of witnesses, look @ all those digital footprints etc. etc.

why?

because everybody wants to go viral and document everything on live, for little hearts to bubble up and disappear, smfh irl...

it's like live tv back in the cable days, you never know who is tuning in,

friend or foes, it's a coin toss,

seen by the wrong eyes can get you jammed up!

free who?

why?

they told on themselves and made a mixtape,

talk about hot potato head, nobody wants to catch that heat,

self-accountability must be on vacation,

some individuals common sense just lacks logics, or maturity,

so why does the population differ as a society when it comes to snitching?

i thought it only referred to the "game" and to its "players", no?

not "civilians"...

are law abiding citizens "snitches" for reporting a crime?

that's a loaded word right there that needs to be examined and taught in educational institutions across the globe for "language clarity" [thanks hip hop lol],

it's become "too pop culture" for it to have the same meaning across "all cultures" that use the term [like the n word], it's like being mislabeled a "karen" or worst,

it should be obvious,

but snitching isn't racist, or classist, it's been utilized in every culture for centuries,

anybody can be affected or triggered by it,

digital snitching ain't different from its tangible twin, it's a twisted yet a weaponized concept to survival of the fittest...

do the crime,

eventually the reward will outweigh the principals and societal norms,

that's when frenemies turn into informants,

hate turns into envy,

karens turn into deputies lol...

people make a career out of hating to profit from reactions,

i'm far from an expert on this topic,

just randomly rambling,

i have no experience on that dark side shit,

however,

with all the movies, tv series, references in genres of music, real life experience podcasts, history lessons, crime literature, culture vulture content [cvc], etc. etc.,

i can formulate an understanding of the "culture of snitching",

life isn't a video game, yet we're treating it like one,

stick and stones may break bones, however words can be the fuel to the fire,

people fuck up & find out using the wrong terminology around the wrong ears,

and that can be a problem,

[maybe ask your a.i. search engine or app for historical knowledge on the culture of snitching, the origins and shit]

[disclaimer] this is just my curiosity thinking,

pros, cons, my opinion,

there's a lot of gray areas here, no protest out of me,

do you, i just watch and don't participate,

if its anything like our reality,

i wouldn't play the "games of crime",

there's very serious consequence for crossing the lines into the dark side...
