i've come to the conclusion that walking is therapy for me,

so is exploring life after 2020...

i'm on a roll and its holiday season,

all the sheeple are out and the wolves are on the prowl, stay sharp don't be a target...

driving can be stressful,

but walking thru the zity can be a pain in the ass too, many environmental health risks lurking, so many obstacles, hurdles that hinders us from effectively navigating thru the zity stress free...

let me list a few of the many encounters that can possibly occur while minding your bizness walking,

it's like a reality tv series on these streets daily, cancel your streaming and go for a walk,

all the amenities, no commercials, all the drama, comedy, suspense, and thrillers to name a few genres.

to start off,

i'm "anti-uneven" sidewalks, i see why many choose violence,

have you ever had the misfortune of encountering one of those fucked up sidewalks?

@ night?

[drivers, it's like potholes for sidewalks]

i understand erosion, natural order of things, but seriously at minimum give us a warning,

or paint them a different color, shine a light, slide a cone there,

because they blend in like chameleons,

it's cheaper to correct an issue than to pay out a settlement for a solvable problem!

next thing,

is there a golden rule about which way flow of walking traffic should go?

like there's two sidewalks per block, should one be for one direction only and vice versa?

there should be a manual on walking...

make up your mind or get the fuck out the way, we all trying to get somewhere, the worst offenders are the ones on their phones hogging up space [wanna be influencers],

i want to say, "move bitch get out the way", while smacking their phone out they hand and walking away!

we are all uniquely "1 in billions",

so obviously we all don't have the same capabilities,

some walk fast, slow, awkward, sus, distracted, lost, clueless, dangerous, focused, dysfunctional etc. etc.,

now this can get a bit sticky still in such a dense environment of impatient mammals,

just walk the pace of the crowd, move to the side if you gonna stop, pedestrian rage is a real thing,

please, don't become the next reel or meme...

depending on where you are in the five boroughs [or any city type layout],

experience my vary,

this experience is for the neighborhoods with high foot traffic, not the car culture of suburbia!

have you ever been just walking minding your bizness and boom,

you walk into a fucking door!

wtf?

don't be embarrassed you should be enraged,

very incompetent work, take that contractor's license, or smack the coins out da store owner,

they really thought a door swing into unsuspected individuals walking past their establishment on the sidewalk was a good idea?

assclowns...

one might even get t-boned by somebody walking out the door,

soon we just gonna have to walk in the bike lane,

sidewalks have been roller derby-ish lately...

let's talk about those two wheeled mosquitoes while its briefly on my tongue,

i like bikes, but bikes without training wheels shouldn't be on the sidewalk, common sense is not common,

however, just use basic programmed sense, follow the rules drivers do, maybe bikers should have license, plates and insurance to operate,

just randomly saying, y'all offenders are a bunch of headaches...

we're going to move on to "intersections",

have you ever witnessed someone being hit in the intersection?

car or individual?

accident or intentional?

witnessed both, movies are a lie, the gore,

many zity dwellers must have acute ptsd just from living in new york zity,

mental warfare is real and doesn't discriminate, we are the walking dead, stay alert while walking thru the intersections,

it seems like lights nor rules are being effectively used in car culture these days...

being a "good samaritan" is dangerous work,

if you see an individual walking distracted and shit, they're about to walking into traffic or danger,

do you stop them from getting hit or harmed?

it's like "environment awareness" isn't a thing, cause the instincts these days are dull like a butter knife, look up dummy,

look both ways when crossing a one way...

even if you have the walk signal, don't act invincible, be aware,

i don't assist individuals that weren't assisting themselves, pay attention!

tourist,

we love and embrace the fact that you want to visit our rugged beauty of a zity,

however, honest question...

do you have tourism in your country or state?

why i ask is because tourist are easily spot based on their behavior,

it's like they come from a fucking bubble in space and the zity is their first stop on earth!

just be considerate, enjoy and pay attention, respect the history or get picked by the vultures because you neglected to acknowledge the culture,

privilege cards don't work here unless you can afford it...

another pet peeve,

can't forget about all those nonprofit salespeople pleading they allegiance,

i dodge them like a running back thru the d line, spin moves around they pitch & smiles, throw a third finger salute as i do my victory dance of avoiding them again...

your cause might be worthy and all, but so is my time,

they need designated areas so these cats can roam, like those time square characters,

new yorkers don't got time for gimmicks, tourist might tho, target they areas,

it's 2023 provide informational material before you ask me to provide my info for a donation, a lot of opportunists preying for a sucker's sympathy money!

street vendors,

learn space management, we appreciate you guys small bizness,

well, the ones that respect the culture,

tighten up your appearance, don't take up two thirds of the sidewalk and not expect complaints,

it's a sidewalk not a street market, folks need to utilize what's provided for public to use, and you're clogging up valuable real estate,

we all pay taxes for the privilege of using the sidewalks too!

bodegas,

they're like rest stops if you are walking thru da zity,

i love the all-inclusive spots where i can order a chop cheese, cop an eighth, drink a cold brew and snack on peanut chews, inflations a bitch,

peanut chews use to be 4 for a $1, damn,

i remember when it was all so simple!

you will learn and absorb many things "walkin.in.da.city" randomly,

go ahead, add this exercise to your routine,

take a walk and witness random shit happening, twenty four seven,

warning tho,

if you have sensitive skin, stick to ride share, this zoo not built for every species to roam through aimlessly!

welcome to the new york zity experience...
