let's set some boundaries...

"your problems are not my professional concern"

so, please limit your emotional feelings,

before your issues become my personal problems,

and then i will waive the courtesy

and give you a dose of reality ..!.

we're coworkers,

they don't pay me enough to be your friend,

why do co-workers believe going to work is like attending college?

or high school for the slow ones...

we ain't childhood friends, just humans competing in a salary slavery scheme,

when i punch in i already want to clock out,

what makes a co-worker think i want to become a "work buddy" or "hubby"?

i'm polite, confident, poised & professional, outside of that you might get a friendly smile and some chit chat, no personal stats,

to many diverse personalities and backgrounds in the "work force" that are forced to work together,

it's a bubbling melting pot, can't please every individual's entitlement, or point of view, or taste,

but one thing is for sure, stay in your lane while playing the rat race game i the best advice i ever received!

if i want to stay quiet and mind my bizness at work, what's the problem?

we're there to work, correct,

we're there to earn money, right,

we're there to fulfill the master's plan, punch out, and go our separate ways,

if i'm eating alone, it's my lunch time not "our lunch time",

this is the only time i can harness peace of mind while on the clock!

have you encountered a situation where a coworker is hating on you just for being you, because you naturally outperforming them, and they "not like us"?

yet still try to rub up on you like an affectionate cat,

keep my name out ya mouth pussy, we ain't got beef however i don't have to like you,

"brown nosers" is what many would call them back in the day,

not sure if that terminology is still used or offensive in this day and age!

me being late, is between me and the boss, are you the boss?

if not, then mind your fucking bizness, go micromanage your mental health!

i don't do favors,

the company doesn't pay me to do favors, so don't ask for any favors,

let me be clearer, if you need me to do something on the clock outside my responsibilities [a favor] just cut me a check, we all got the same 40 plus lunch, find time to be organized,

if the problem is above your pay grade, why are you concerned or complaining?

coworkers want a pat on their back for doing shit that ain't even in their job description!

this just the beginning to this conversation,

however, i'm not gonna dive any deeper into the topic for now but look out for additions on this topic.

this is a coworker awareness message,

read the room and read the energy,

not everybody is happy like you to be in small spaces with annoying faces!

short & sweet ...
